A few posts ago, I spoke about how I didn’t know what I would do with this “what’s in season” idea that I started over on IG this past summer. Once I started working on The Art of Hosting, I thought I was going to have to let the idea go, but a friend of mine reminded me that I hadn’t played with the idea long enough yet to be already giving up on it, so here we are 🙂
Every month, I plan on sharing fruits and vegetables that are in season to make your grocery trips easier + your recipes the best they will ever be. Buying in-season produce has many more benefits, like ensuring fresheners, the best flavor + nutritional value. Still, my overall favorite has got to be supporting local farmers. When we dream of our farmers’ market trips, they never seem to be placed during the winter months but in the spring and summer.

Other items in a season that aren’t pictured are avocados, kiwis, onions, rutabaga, and turnips. Throughout the month, I’ll be sharing a few of my favorite recipes, including seasonal produce.
